turkey day

We had a great Thanksgiving!  Jeff was on call, which meant we technically weren't supposed to leave town.  Both of Jeff's sisters were going to be in town and Jeff's mom had been waiting a really long time to get everyone together for a picture.  We decided that since everything seemed to be going well at work, we would sneak down for Peggy's delicious Thanksgiving feast.  It did not disappoint!  It was definitely worth the quick trip.  The girls loved it and Heidi has now decided she likes turkey just as much as she likes ham (which is hard to beat because she is in love with ham).  I love the picture of all the grandkids with grandpa and grandma!  They really are such wonderful grandparents.  My girls are so lucky.  Heidi and Savanna had so much fun with their cousins and they both adored the pie!  Last year Heidi loved chocolate, but this year she decided pumpkin was the best.  Both of the girls were beyond thrilled when they realized grandma sent them home with their very own pumpkin pie!  She sure does spoil us!  It was a great day.  We have so very much to thankful for!
