our first snow

We had a very small amount of snow last night.  The girls were so happy to see a little white when they woke up this morning.  I actually think they were more excited and happy about this minuscule amount of snow than they were about any snow we ever had in Wyoming.  Watching them try to play in it was hilarious and adorable.  They were squealing and laughing and cheering.  I'm sure all of the neighbor's were awakened by their excitement.  The funniest part was watching them try to make a snow angel.  They had a funny little snowball fight and Heidi was laughing because Jeff threw some snow in her mouth.  I was very impressed at the snowman they were able to make by scraping the snow from the mat of the trampoline.  I was surprised they even got a carrot to stick!  It was a very exciting morning.  Now they are inside warming up and Savanna keeps opening the door to see if the snow is still there about five minutes.  We are thankful, at least for today, that we have the later church!
