boston

We got into Boston late Tuesday evening.  The airport was a nightmare, it took forever to get our luggage, but we finally got on our way and were to our rental around 10 pm.  The place we stayed in was perfect because it was in walking distance to the subway and since there is no parking in Boston, that made getting to the city a dream!  The girls love subways and they were up early Tuesday morning ready to get to the subway station.

We decided to spend our day following the freedom trail and doing all the sites along the way.  We did over 25,000 steps without a stroller and the girls did amazing!!!  Caimbree took a few rides on Jeff's shoulders, but honestly, there was very minimal complaining considering how much walking we were asking them to do.  The girls genuinely enjoyed the sites and they were so excited when we found an ice cream truck.  They have been fascinated with the idea of ice cream trucks so we knew we had to let them get a popsicle and they were so excited!  We took a ferry to get across the river and the girls loved having a break for their feet and a the ride itself was just fun!  We couldn't have had better weather for our day and we lucked out that it really wasn't an overly crowded day.
