a week with cousins

 Eric and Holly spent a week with Michael and they had Jackson and Hughie spend the week with us!  It ended up being a great week for all of us!  We took them to the zoo, we had a great Fourth of July with them, we went to Buckner Park to the community swimming pool, and we went to the zoo!  They had a blast!  We also taught Hughie and Jackson to ride their bikes and they were so proud to learn.  The girls love spending time with their cousins.

The funniest part was when we told Hughie the parachute firework was one you put on your back and run with and then you shoot up in the air.  He believed it and we laughed and laughed watching him and Heidi run with backpacks on while Jeff lit a firework behind them and Heidi exclaimed, "We're flying, Hughie!"  She is such a good little prankster and never gives it away.  We will hopefully be making a tradition of this and having the boys stay with us a week each summer.  It's so good for our kids to develop relationships with their cousins!
