banebow

 "If it rains, be the sun".  Oh, I love the cause of the Banebow race.  It is a race that benefits families who have lost a child.  They provide meals, and cleaning, and money for families in our community that suffer the unthinkable.  I was excited to run it this year!  The course was through beautiful Montgomery Bell Park.  The course was tough, but oh so gorgeous.  I finished in 32:58, which was good enough considering all of my training was on the treadmill and this course was a large majority uphill!  We saw friends at the race and the girls cheered me on with a sweet sign!  I am so glad I was able to run this race and that Jeff and the girls were there cheering me on!
