Last weekend we decided that since the rain that was originally in the forecast was postponed, we would head to Cookeville to hike! The girls were over the moon when we told them we were going, and they were especially thrilled about staying in a hotel...as always.
I made sure we got a hotel with a pool. It was so fun to see the girls swim and we were shocked at how quickly they got in and started swimming around! They made so much progress last year, but they haven't swam in so long we weren't sure what to expect. Caimbree was the most hesitant even though she was the most brave last year! With a little practice I am sure she will be swimming around again. Heidi starts swim lessons next month and Savanna decided she doesn't want to do them this year because she doesn't like jumping in. The lessons are only a week long. They really need something that lasts longer because they are all so nervous about water, but we will take what we can get and try to expose them to lots of water this summer because no doubt we will need to cool down!
