holiday world

 Our friends have been telling us about a place called Holiday World in Indiana.  They invited us to go with them this weekend.  We are so glad they invited us and so happy we went!  It was the best day!!  First of all, our friends are so much fun to hang out with.  Our kids all get along so well...they have the sweetest, cutest kids.  Holiday World was 3 hours from our house so we took off around 7:30 in the morning.  Heidi had a blast talking on the walkie talkies with Lincoln.  They kept telling each other knock

 knock jokes and it was hysterical.  Holiday World is a super fun, super clean, super family friendly amusement park and they also have a huge water park.  We did a couple of small rides at first but it was so hot we went over the water park.  It was a blast!!!  Heidi was tall enough to do some bigger, wilder rides and the little girls absolutely loved the wave pools and water slides.  It felt so good to cool off.  Then a big storm came through and they shut the rides down for about an hour while the storm passed.  We changed and ate and then headed over to the dry rides.

 Caimbree, as usual, was an absolute

 dream.  She really is the most enjoyable little girl. She was happy the whole day and always just rolls with whatever.  She loved the rides she could go on, especially the merry go round.

We stayed until they closed at 9pm and then watched a little bit of the firework show on our way out.  It was seriously the most fun day!  The drive home was hard because we were all just so exhausted, but the girls slept and I tried to talk Jeff's ear off to keep him awake.  I thought the girls would be grumpy today but they were so happy and spent most

 of the day talking and reliving their fun day.  We will definitely, definitely go back again!
