celebrating savanna

Savanna decided that she wanted a princess party so and we decided six is really the perfect age for a princess.  So instead of doing a party next year, we went ahead and did it this year since Savanna has so many cute friends and it was just a great year to do it.  We had a fantastic party!  Anna read stories, face painted, sang and danced.  Savanna has a load of fun friends and they spoiled her with presents she was so excited about...especially the two LOL doll underwraps two friends brought.  We are so grateful to all of the people who came and for the amazing people we have met through our kids.  They have such great friends from such great families and we are grateful they support and help us as we raise these girls!  I hope Savanna will always remember her special day!

Happy 6th birthday, to our sweet little angel, Savanna!  Six just feels so grown up and yet it feels like you were born yesterday!  You have brought so much joy and laughter and compassion into our home.  You are kind and loving and so in tune with the feelings of those around you.  What a gift!  You are bursting with energy and love and you feel love so strongly.  You always have a twinkle in your eye.  You are the best sister and watch out for those you love so fiercely.  Our lives are so much better with you in it!

sweet friends

Since my friend, Jordyn, was going through crazy doctor appointments and radiation, we got to have Caimbree's best friend, Sadie over a lot.  It was so fun for them to get to play together!  They are so adorable together and were in costume every time they were together.  Elsa and Anna need each other!  They only referred to each other and Elsa or Anna...never their given names.  It made me giggle.  I am so glad they have each other.  They are completely inseparable!

carving pumpkins

 We had our good friends and neighbors, Karen and Dave Wery, come over for dinner and pumpkin carving before Halloween! It was such a fantastic night!  The girls did so well cleaning out their pumpkins and planning and carving their pumpkin faces. It was such a great night!  I love how excited they are to do all the fun holiday activities!

field trip to the capital

Heidi got to go on a field trip to the state capital this year!  She loved it and soaked in every single moment!  They did a mock session and debated school uniforms.  Her teacher sent me this picture.  When she got home, she told me it was her favorite field trip of all time!  I love her excitement for learning!  It is the best!

henslee park

 Our town recently turned an old country club into a walking/running/biking park.  We are so excited!  One Sunday morning we decided to go and check it out.  We LOVE spending time together this way!  The girls love the fresh air and it was fun to check out something new.  They were so cute and played little games the whole time we were walking.  I am grateful for weekends and for mornings we get to just slow down and be together!

halloween 2018

 Halloween was so much fun, filled with a lot of fun activities!  Before Halloween, Caimbree had a dance show downtown.  She danced to, "I want Candy" and did a fantastic job! She really is a great little dancer and is constantly dancing. They got to go trick or treating to all of the downtown shops after her dance. 

On Halloween the girls had fun days in their classrooms with fun little activities.  I was able to help in Savanna's classroom and I had a blast! Then I helped in Heidi's classroom with some things her teacher needed help with.  Caimbree's class had a pajama party and she was so excited.  She had her pajamas picked out a week beforehand and refused to wear those pajamas even to bed the night before the party. 

Heidi really wanted to be Hermione for Halloween because she is obsessed with Harry Potter these days!  We really didn't have money to buy a costume she would wear one time, but I am so proud of her because she figured out a way to make

her own and she really looked like Hermione! She is so creative!  I was watching my friend Jordyn's little girl (Sadie) on Halloween because she was having a radiation treatment.  It was fun for all four girls to do a little trick or treating before heading to the ward trunk or treat.  We had a very memorable and fun day!  Halloween is always a blast!
